From what I have been reading on past answers about Cocoa Beach I’m not so excited about visiting there. Obviously the beaches aren’t as pretty as the gulf side and supposedly the water is murky. Anyone have any insight as to how Cocoa Beach is and is it worth a 00.00 condo stay for a week at the beach? Please let me know so I don’t waste good money on some place that might be a waste of a vacation!
has anyone used a resort type of vacation you can purchase from ebay that offers great deals on hotels and tickets if you attend a 90 min sales presentation. If so how was it.thanks
I paid 9.00 for 3days 2nghts at a hotel and dinner voucher 2 adult and 3 kids tickets to see a magic show and a coupon book and I get back for doing a timeshare tour. It is a package I just bought to go to Branson Missouri.
I understand that Timeshare divides a year of ownership into 52 weeks, and one can buy number of weeks instead of the whole year of ownership for their vacation needs. For any given unit in a resort, a maximum of 52 Timeshare owners can use it during the year. So are there regulations on the resort on how many ownerships they can sell? For each unit, if they sell more than 52, then they are selling “Properties” that do NOT exist, like overbooking a flight.
Next week we will be vacationing in Oahu. I booked a 33rd floor condo at the Waikiki Banyon through a private owner. What were your thoughts about the Hotel in general and the area in which it is located?
Thinking about doing the discovery and eventually owning one.
These timeshares can be used around the world – meaning if there is a Wyndham or Fairfield resort anywhere around, then you can go and stay for free (outside of housekeeping fees).
They give you so many points to use throughout the year and if you own one (actually spend thousands to buy one) then you own it for the rest of your life (transferable to your children when you die), you are free to travel to any of the popular vacation spots around the world. Like Cancun, orlando, hawai, carrbeans, myrtle beach, destin, fl and the list goes on.
Anyway, the question is: If you own one is it worth it?
Is it hard to get into a room and do you really own it for the rest of your life? If knew what you know now, would you do it again
Please give honest feed back both positive and negative. I only have so many days to decide if I going to cancel my discovery or not.
Your answers will help me make my decision
Also, If you don’t buy with the company, then how are you suppose to be engaged in the low monthly payment. Is there a way around that if you buy from other places? Thanks for your info – you guys are helping soooo much! :- )

I have a studio condo in Ft. Lauderdale Beach, Florida. It is timeshare week 31, beach property!! How do I get rid of it. I am tired of paying these maintance fees each year 0!! I already lost 0 trying to get a broker to sell it. Timeshare broker took my money, and never sold it!!
Any words of wisdom to help an unemployed mother of two kids?? I love the condo, just can’t keep up with the yearly fees anymore!!
