Is this true? Vacation Services at Hilton Head called and said that they were extending my stay for free if I go to a meeting about buying land. They say this is real ownership and not a shared or timeshare pitch.

We’re going to the Atlantis this summer and tossing up the pros and cons of staying at the Atlantis itself or staying nearby at their timeshare — The Harborside or at the Sheraton or the Comfort Suites.

My question is, how far of a walk is it from the Harborside? Is the Comfortsuites a lot closer or just a little closer.

Are the room sizes at the harborside worth the walk or are we crazy?

We mainly want to be near the aquaventure while we’re there and I can’t see if there is a way from the harborside to the acquaventure side of the resort or if there’s water between.

Thanks for any info!!!

I have called several co and they want money up front

We are traveling with 3 families. Our parents (70), sister and brother in law (early 30′s) and us ( late 30′s, 18, 14, and 10 years old). We are not sure which island would be best to stay on so that there is something for everyone. Short hikes, waterfalls, and beach are 3 activities that keep coming up…and we don’t know if a resort or a condo/rental house would be the best option. We’d love input from anyone regarding a family friendly vacation and where might be the best place to call "home" for a week.

How do you do it?
Seems to be a lot of people wanting to sell timeshares.
Do these people rent them out on the cheap through an agency?
I would never buy one – of course.
Just want a cheap vacation on the beach somewhere in Florida for a couple of weeks.

Since time share owners are desperate to sell, is doing something like this a good idea?
Or do time share laws prevent the owners from renting them out?

When I was in Las Vegas a few months ago, everywhere you went people were trying to sell me a timeshare. I know a couple of people who have them. I wanted to know how they worked and why half the people who have them love them and the other half go bankrupt?

Has anyone ever received a Florida Vacation from Synergy Resort Marketing Group? They’ll give me a trip to Orlando, FL, Daytona Beach, and a cruise to the Bahamas for 8 and I have to go to a timeshare presentation. Is it a scam?

Received a letter in the mail stating I had won a cruise, ,500 shopping spree, Mercedes Benz, BMW, etc…Called and knew it would be a 90 min sales pitch to buy timeshares. The company is AVC travel from out of Texas. I read review on it and most say it is a scam, but some others actually said they got the cruise. Has anyone personally experienced going to the sales pitch and actually got the cruise and went on it???

Our honeymoon condo in Maui just got shut down. We plan on being there 9/11-9/18. Do you know of another condo in Maui we can stay at? Many thanks!
