We have a friend who sweetly is getting us a week stay in a couple timeshare resorts for our honeymoon. We scheduled it all today! We are staying 4 days in Honolulu by Waikiki Beach and 3 days in Princeville, Kauai. We are looking at fun excursions and things to do while in both places. We are definitely doing skydiving in Honolulu
!! My question is, have you been to or heard of any great places that you’d recommend around Honolulu or Princeville??
No having luck with the ones advertised on the TV, They are ripoffs.
I’m planning a beach vacation for July or August of this year, for my friends and I. We want to rent a beach house or condo. We’re considering going to Florida, but need some suggestions as to where. There will be about 15 of us, and most of us are ages 21-23, so we want to go somewhere that has a good nightlife. I know the obvious answers are going to be Miami/South Beach and Key West, and we’re considering it, but that’s just a farther drive. I’ve looked into Panama City Beach and Siesta Key Beach as well. But I know the busier seasons are the winter months and spring break, so if anyone can give some suggestions as to what a good spot would be for that time of year, that would be great! Thank you so much in advance! We also looked into Myrtle Beach. (Also, if anyone has suggestions for where to rent vacation homes/condos, that would be a big help! Thank you!)
We are researching family vacation options and values. We really like all inclusive type resorts with lots of kids activities etc.. Any ideas?
i signed a deed to own a timeshare and to make payments on it for the next couple years. i do not think i am ready and really want to get out of it right away. i need advice as to what to do.
When we were in Puerto Vallarta in Dec 2006 we were coerced into a 6 or 7 Hr. sales ordeal at Mayan Palace where we surrendered a 410 deposit on a 700 Grand Mayan timeshare. Only after we got back home did we discover how severely we had been lied to. We requested cancellation of the contract and our deposit returned…they refused and are asking for more money. There were two websites….mayanresorts .org and mayanresorts.info …that told the truth about the fraud at Mayan but recently they were taken over by Mayan for their own advertising.Anyone have a problem with Mayan ? and has more ideas about fixing this problem of Mayans illegal sales abuses ? or at least helping spread accurate information about them to warn other travelers ?
I want to vacation at the beach in Florida this summer, and I’m looking for some input. I’m not big on commercialized cityscapes, twenty-story condos, etc, and I’m not a loud partying tourist. I’d rather stay in a small, friendly town and get to know the local area than put up in a look-alike hotel room and eat fifteen dollar hamburgers. I’m also a surfer (enthusiastic yet amateur), so any surf spots that you could recommend that are fun and not too hardcore would be great. Any help would be much appreciated! ![]()

My wife and i have owned a timeshare in Vegas for about 6-7 years and have never used it. It is fully paid for and we are interested in selling it. We get countless offers from companies in the mail offering to sell it for us for a "nominal" fee. We are hesitant to sign up with any old company due to the upfront fees and fear of scams. Looking for anyone who has successfully sold their timeshare and what selling service they used, or if they did it themselves and how they did it. Thanks for your time.
