Buying Timeshare Archives
Hi, I know nothing about timeshares. I have always been interested but just now have the financial stability to be able to afford one. I specifically am only interested in timeshares that allow you to use it at multiple locations. I believe there are timeshares or programs available where basically you pay for 1/52 of a property and there are like 20 properties in a pool. each year you are in a group of many many people and you can select which property you would like to stay at. I would like something which includes the rockies in the US and possibly other countries as well. I am not rich…so something inexpensive would be best. I am extremely careful when it comes to purchases like this so don’t worry about me rushing out and buying something…but I need some resources. Can you please send me your favorite website links for these types of timeshares? Please only send a link if you really believe for sure it is the best site for looking for exactly what I’m looking for. I have a feeling there will be many links and I will be visiting them all through a google search. I will select the one that I feel as the best as my best answer after visiting all of them so that the other people that answer can visit the site as well and possibly get something out of this question too
Thank you so much!

I want to buy my groceries and have them delivered to my timeshare in Nassau. Is there a grocer that delivers?
I see year round (not timeshares) motel stlye rooms selling for 50% of the value of my home. I could sell here, and buy there really cheap. Lower taxes, and no utilities offset the maintenence fees.
How is life in that area? Crime? entertainment?
Thanks
I’m wondering if there’s anyone who visited Las Vegas recently and got this offer? I put a deposit of 0 US and signed a contract that said if I go back within a year, I just need to attend the 2-3 hour presentation and that’s it. If I decide not to buy, they’ll give me my initial deposit back PLUS either a 3 nights 4 days during weekdays or 2 nights 3 days during the weekend at either the PALAZO or VENETIAN, which are both 5 star hotels.
I read ALL reviews regarding their high pressure sales tactics and most reviewers said that the sales people are very obnoxious and would not take NO as an answer.
Honestly, I couldn’t even afford the timeshare anyways, I’m only interested in the freebies only.
So, I’m just wondering if there’s anyone out there that can give me some pointers on how to get out from there ASAP, or if you receive the same offer as me (free hotel nights instead of free show tickets or buffets, please let me know how was your experience.
Thanks a lot!
I wanted to find a timeshare meeting where they give you tickets for listening to the presentation and you don’t have to buy anything?
SO FOR INSTANCE IF YOU BUY TIMESSHARES IN FLORIDA WOULD YOU BE ABLE TO GO TO HAWAII AND USE THAT SAME RESORT? For instance a friend told me to buy timeshare with Westgate resort. Would I be able to take a vacation In Hawaii, or you must stay where you bought your timeshare
This is the ad I found on craiglist

( Per Ticket Disney,Universal,or Sea World without a tour)

Thank You for your business"
I called and they told me they will deliver the tickets to my hotel. Can anyone tell me how my credit card could protect me if it turns out that the tickets are not usable?
I called Discover and they told me it might be impossible to get the money back, since the broker is actually having the no refund policy
I bought a package deal at six flags in vallejo last year for with the condition of having to attend a 90min presentation (has something to do with timeshares) but I was wondering, since there’s no obligation to buy, do the conditions still apply to "stay" at the room based on the age(25)?
Basically, what i want to know is, do you have to be the required age of the presentation, which is 25, to stay in the room? cuz the age to check in the room is 21, but when we bought the promo at 6flags they did say u have to attend the 90min presentation but not obligated to buy anyway. (Not planning to anyway) lol
I have been very wary of time shares. Does anyone have experience with them. I have one long vacation ( 7 – 10 days)once a year and generally two shorter vacations (long weekends) mixed in. It seems that it would make sense to me, but when I listen to the sales men I get confused. They are so concerned with the sell, they don’t have patience to let me think and evaluate. I have always been told "I have to move on there are 20 other people here who want to buy into this wonderful environment." Or something such as. I can’t work with this hard sell. I need to know all the ins and outs. Does anyone have ideas or experience with time shares?
