for our honeymoon my fiance and i are planning on flying to ireland, going to wales & germany, and probably flying back out of ireland (unless we can get a good deal from another country but i think it’s usually best to fly back where you fly in)
we’re going next may (probably 5/5/10 or so)
my dad is letting us use his timeshare in ireland, we have friends in wales and family in germany to stay with so we won’t need lodging included
still not sure if we’re renting a car or not…
when would be the best time to purchase the tickets, and where should we buy them?
flying out of NY but can be albany, the city, even stewart (new burgh)
Buying Timeshare Archives
Hi,
I work for a company that is a prize center and I need 30 people to go in this weekend to a claim center near them. I am really brief because I don’t want anyone to think I am selling anything. Everyone that goes to the claim center just has to listen to a 90 minutes presentation about either a travel club or timeshare but they DO NOT have to buy, join, or sign anything!!!! Everyone is guaranteed a free prize. Usually a trip. And in most instances its an all expense paid trip!!!!!! Airfare included!
I get a very small bonus on everyone that I send that goes to claim a prize. So thats that. Are you interested? If so all I need is your area code to see the closet claim center to you and what they are offering and I can tell you all about that claim center. This is a state registered sweepstakes so theres no tricks or scams. I am just in desperate need of 30 people going this weekend. You would think that shouldn’t be hard to do since it is free but I am struggling this week.
If you go this Saturday you will not only be getting a free prize you will be helping me out tremendously….. If you know anyone that wants to go I will even pay you like for them once I am paid as a referral!
There are claim centers in all states by the way…and I do not really need any personal information to schedule your appointment other than name and phone number and email address. Thats It!!!
Can we start the count down for my 30?
You guys probably aren’t old enough to go anyway. If you think its a scam thats fine….I know its not and whoever goes knows its not. So thanks for taking the time to read my post and respond!
I just recently bought a vacation ownership (similar to a timeshare) and want to take my boyfriend somewhere for his birthday. His birthday is awhile away (October 9). I am looking for somewhere romantic that has fun activities and entertainment. I don’t want it to be too quiet or boring of a place. I am looking for somewhere with a romantic/pretty landscape where we can sightsee but I want to take him to do fun activities too. I haven’t been outside California much so I need feedback on the locations I had in mind. Here are the locations I had in mind:
1.Estes Park, Colorado
2.Steamboat Springs, Colorado
3.McCall, Idaho
4.New Orleans, Louisiana
5.West Yellowstone, Montana
6.South Shore, Nevada
7.Depoe Bay, Oregon
8.Eagle Crest, Oregon
9.Gleneden, Oregon
10.Running Y, Oregon
11.Seaside, Oregon
12.Bear Lake, Utah
13.Midway, Utah
14.St. George, Utah
15.Wolf Creed, Utah
16.Birch Bay, Washington
17.The Camlin, Washington
My boyfriend and I got the vacation ownership together so he will like pretty much any of the places I have listed. He isn’t picky, just like me. We just want to get out, see new places and experience new things. He will be damn happy with any places I take him. And please do not suggest any locations that I didn’t list. I haven’t afford to just go anywhere…that is the point!
My mom got talked into purchasing a "discounted vacation" over the phone through a company called Great Vacation Destinations. The trip is a few days in Orlando, FL and then a couple days on a cruise to the Bahamas, followed by a couple more days in Ft Lauderdale. The catch is that you have to go to a timeshare presentation for BlueGreen timeshares. And there are bonus vacations that you can take to Las Vegas and Cancun etc later on.
She now regrets the decision to buy, but has already shelled out a good chunk of money which I don’t think she can get back, so we are going to go check it out. I have heard lots of people’s opinions that all these types of offers are scams, and I would tend to give the same opinion, but is there anyone out there that has actually gone on this vacation with this company and could report on their experiences and/or offer any advice to ensure that the trip is at least a success, even if it’s not the great deal that they sell you on over the phone. Thanks!
my partner and i were thinking of buying a time share. can you tell me something about them thanks all
I am new to Wyndham/Fairfield Timeshares. I made a reservation and I did not have enough points, so I had to buy them. Now I have cancelled the one day that was over 0.00. I cancelled more than 30 days before, will I get my money back?? HELP
timeshare tours in panama city, panama.?
I’m asking this because I hear alot of people that these things are a scam.
Thing is that my parents bought one, however it’s not a time share where you’re stuck in one location. You get x amount of day (i think now it’s changed to a point system) and you can choose to spend time in any of the resorts they have around the world.
My parents bought it with the sole purpose so that we could travel and go on vacation (they didn’t do it as an investment)
now I’m scared that people are saying is bad and stuff. I hope my folks didn’t make a big mistake.
i’m not sure how it works
the only thing i know is that my dad pays some money every other year (idk if that’s for maintenance or
the timeshare)
but yeah i guess my parents’ purpose was so that we could travel to differen places every year.
This bogus company goes by the name of "Cancun Luxury Travel" , or says "Sunny Getaways/Vacations" on your bank statement. I fell for buying a 5 nights all inclusive for 8 & my receipt said the money was going to be paid directly to the "hotel" today. Which is not true at all!! When you call to confirm, you have to pick a hotel, and pay 0 peak season fee, plus another PER Person taxes. You think you are booked, but another lady calls you to start asking you jobs, age and if you’re married and then tries to get you to go on a 90 min timeshare presentation. When you refuse, the 1st company you paid calls you back claiming that you cancelled the trip by refusing the timeshare, when from the beginning they never said ANYTHING about a timeshare presentation or having to be married. They then say you have to basically go on a timeshare presentation or pick a different hotel, which then yet another company calls you "claiming" to work for the hotel, which all seams soooo sketchy and asking for the PER person taxes, so 0. When I said I want to pay the hotel directly when I arrive in Cancun, they say "that’s not how it works" and will not confirm with the hotel until you pay. It’s basically just all a SCAM to get you to pay more money and god knows if the hotel will even have your reservation or a room. After researching the hotel, most ALL the reviews are bad and say that they wont even let you check in until you agree to go on a timeshare presentation & harass you the whole time you are there!
Is there ANYONE ELSE out there who fell for this?? I want to go to the better business bureau and report this company!!!! PLEASE contact me!!!
I’m going to Miami from 5/24-5/28. I don’t have to worry about hotel(we have time share & it’s paid for) Nor do I have the worries of a rental that is also paid for. I won’t have kids or hubby with me; it’s strictly a girls get away. I’m not looking to do alot of tourist events; I really just want to have a good time, hit a few bars, maybe get a massage & party a lil. The timeshare condo has a full kitchen; I don’t care to cook while on vacation; but perhaps grab a few snacks, bagels, juice & things like that to prevent from buying too much stuff. I’m really savvy when it comes to spending…how much do you think I’ll need for spending?
I won’t be in Miami all day on the 28th; our flight leaves pretty early. So technically I won’t be doing anthing on the last day; but just prepping to return home.
