A friend of mine recently moved to Florida and began selling timeshares. I referred my mother-in-law to her, because she has been talking about selling her timeshare for years now.
Is it typical practice to pay a certain amount before your timeshare sells? She was charged a fee, a large fee, but guaranteed that money back once the timeshare sells.
I was always told that you never pay for anything in advance, especially real estate. And she hasn’t received the paperwork in the mail to sign, so is this even legal??
(She was told the paperwork would be Fed-Ex delievered on Saturday, yet we haven’t received anything.)
my husband and i were doped into purchasing a timeshare in orlando. then a few years later we purchased one in puerto vallarta to replace the one in orlando. not thinking that it was going to be difficult to sell the orlando timeshare, we easily bought into the puerto vallarta one because they offered us 5 weeks. can we really donate a timeshare without any fees against us and actually get rid of it. if so, which online site can we go to? how do we get rid of it without having anymore times to the stupid program?
I bought some timeshare in florida for 12k its next to walt disney, universal studios and sea world. I need help selling it.
I am having trouble contacting this company. They signed a contract to sell my Orlando timeshare, but have not followed through with the financial details. Unfortunately, I had to give them 00 up front, but the only comments I could find online about them were positive, so I decided to do it.
Very worried in New Orleans
I have a Timeshare membership with Vacation Brokers Int. Inc. (a Toronto based company) and wish to dispose of this, as we have never used it, and probably will not in the future. Basically it was a good idea at the time, but our curcumstances changed within a few weeks of buying this. Since we decided to sell it, practically anyone intersted in selling it for us wants money up front to advertise it on the web.
If so how did you do it and were there up front costs?
All storys welcome.
Selling because of Heart Attack. Have a timeshare in the Cayman Islands that I won’t be using any longer so I need to sell it. I am asking less than half the other adds I see and like a third of what they are asking from the resort. Would appreciate any input.

I know this is opening a can of worms but I am just curious.
As people of free rights can we not buy, sell, rent, lease, rent to own, timeshare, lol etc. our own selves in sound mind and body by contract?
