Help selling my timeshare?
I am wanting to sell my timeshare. Does anybody know of a website or company that can help me out with this? Does anybody have any suggestions to help me to sell it?

Unfortunately I can’t make any recommendations because I don’t know of any timeshare resale companies that I am sure are reputable, but I can offer some advice and information. I’d be VERY careful about choosing a company to sell it for you. There are a lot of scammers out there that will tell you they have prospects to buy your timeshare and then ask you to pay a listing fee and once they have that, you never hear a word from them again. My recommendation would be that if the company asks for an upfront payment, you look for another company. If I were selling a timeshare I would not do it anyway except on a commission paid at closing basis. If you pay up front, there’s a good chance you’re just throwing money away.
You might want to try contacting the resort to see if they can recommend a realtor to sell it or perhaps the resort might even do it. I’ve seen listings of units available from various timeshare resorts, but I don’t know if those are units they repossessed because the owners stopped paying their maintenance fees or if they’re regular resales.
Also, be aware that unless it’s a prime week at a prime property you’re not likely to get anywhere near as much as you paid for it. I’ve seen a bunch of non-prime weeks at decent, but not exceptional, resorts listed for just a few hundred dollars. There are lots of people that want out of their timeshares and fewer that want in, so prices are low. You can probably get a decent amount for a 4th of July week on the beach, but an April week in the mountains isn’t likely to get you much.
