Selling/renting out/reselling timeshare?
I own a timeshare I know I will never use (stupid move on my part). It is located on the island of St Martin. What is the best way to go about selling or renting it out, I know I will probably get a lot less than what it’s worth but at least I will get it off my back.
Thanks!

To resale or rent a timeshare is a hard task, the basic rule is not to pay money up-front, don’t be another victim of a scam. There are some free classified adds where you can post it and get some results:

http://tug2.net/
http://craigslist.com
http://ebay.com
http://recycler.com/
http://usfreeads.com/
http://www.inetgiant.com/
ebay is one way. Look to see who else is renting one. another site is the Time Share Users group site for rentals and sales.
dear friend,
there are some places(brokers) which can got your timeshare rented. you can find them by a simple search on the internet. then you can earn some money every period when it’s your time to use the timeshare.
just do a search and find those brokers. if you cant, its good to ask a professional to do the search for you.
its a good idea to keep your timeshare as an investment for yourself.
Best bet is to give it to a family member
Is this Timeshare Leased or Deeded? If it is Leased I would probably try renting it out as many times as possible and let the lease run out. Many ways to rent it out. Major advertisers are seen on top of google, yahoo and MSN. A company I have rented from is Buyatimeshare.com they got me a great rental in vegas with no effort on my part.
If it is deeded then you want to try to sell it. Expect to get less than what you paid. Timeshares are not for making money on. Place your timeshare out on the internet and try to get it sold. http://www.Buyatimeshare.com is a good place to start. Many other places to try is Craigslist since its free.
I am sure you are in a better position to get it sold see that is is a nice area compared to the millions that own in Florida.
Good luck
