What happens if I don't pay fees on a timeshare?
I currently own a timeshare that is fully paid for, but there is a ,000 remodelling fee due. I’ve tried donating and selling the timeshare but to no avail.

You are likely on the hook for the remodel fee BUT check your contract (or have somebody check it for you). You might have the ability to "walk away" from it but I doubt it.
You could be taken to collections, have a judgement placed against you, ruin your credit.
If it is paid for it should have value. I would suggest doing whatever is necessary to pay off the $2000. Have you tried to work out time payments with the management group? Sooner or later, if priced right, you should be able to sell it.
Suggest you take a look at these websites. One of them may be helpful for you.
