So I went to this presentation today. I thought it was awesome.
To become an "owner" I would have the get financing for K(lifetime) which isn’t bad. I turned it down. I can buy a car for that price.

They did offer me 6,000 points (grand total of 5)

I can go to almost any attraction out West excluding Hawaii.

Was this a great deal or should I get my money back? Never done this before.

With my 6000 points, that is only enough for 1 trip and I can only use 6000 point during non peak season, unless I want to purchase more points.

We are planning a last min trip to Orlando in Aug. and are going to Disney while there. We have more time than money so we are doing the timeshare route. We have done it before and we are comfortable with it. It is fun really. However we know how to say no. Anyway I am looking for the 2 Disney tickets for .00 but the all go to Westgate Resorts and we can not do that one. I need one from another property and I am hopeing someone who lives there can help me with some options. I can not wait till the last min. Please need info now.

From what I have been reading on past answers about Cocoa Beach I’m not so excited about visiting there. Obviously the beaches aren’t as pretty as the gulf side and supposedly the water is murky. Anyone have any insight as to how Cocoa Beach is and is it worth a 00.00 condo stay for a week at the beach? Please let me know so I don’t waste good money on some place that might be a waste of a vacation!

I have a studio condo in Ft. Lauderdale Beach, Florida. It is timeshare week 31, beach property!! How do I get rid of it. I am tired of paying these maintance fees each year 0!! I already lost 0 trying to get a broker to sell it. Timeshare broker took my money, and never sold it!!

Any words of wisdom to help an unemployed mother of two kids?? I love the condo, just can’t keep up with the yearly fees anymore!!

I purchased a timeshare in Vegas at the Grandview Resort a few miles away from the strip. It’s a very nice resort and we got a floating 1 bedroom unit for week 11 (annually) and 2 bonus weeks for ,000. It’s a year round "RED" so there’s no off season. The maintenance fee seemed reasonable, only 0/yr and /yr RCI membership.

I wasn’t expecting this low of a price and I actually was absolutely against purchasing until I heard the numbers. I feel that I should have negotiated it down some, but when I heard k, I figured it was a good deal.

I’ve been reading up on it and I’ve seen a lot of complaints about trading resorts. I figure that some of them are b/c a lack of trading power and from what I can tell, I should be pretty strong there.

Does it sound like I got screwed? Has anyone’s experiences using their timeshare been positive? I just want to be reassured that I didn’t throw away money. We vacation often and probably have spent -4k in the past year on hotels.

My wife and I bought a timeshare last year, but now we would like to sell it. How can I go about doing this quickly and not lose money?

Our family has a house on the Jersey Shore, and that is where we always go for vacation. Everytime I bring up the word "vacation" they always say "that is why we have a beach house." This makes me very frusterated, and I try to reason with them, telling them all the things that I want to do that are not offered on the jersey shore. Then they tell me that when I am 18 I can go on vacation on my own. The place I really want to go is Miami. CSI: miami(my fav show) should be filming there soon, and there is so much to do there, and we have a place to stay(grandparents condo)..but they just don’t want to reason with me..they just tell me "no one goes to miami in the summer"…and I’m positive that it is not about the money….so how can Iconvince them? I even offered to go myself and stay with my grandparents…

I talk to the people that sell them but it seems they all want money up front I just worry that I might be getting ripped off

Instead of going through those "services" that just take u’r money and run

My family is under a tough time now. We have 2 little girls, we just bought our first home, and suddenly financial troubles hit. I lost my job, and although I am looking, I can’t find another one. We have this timeshare that we have to make payments on every month. It’s frustrating because we don’t want the timeshare and we can’t even afford to use it. We need the money to pay our bills. We just need to sell the timeshare, but we don’t know what site will sell it fast. Please help.
